We are seeking a pre-sales intern with some background in finance to join our fast-growing New York operation. This candidate will work closely with our sales team to prepare for and provide software demonstrations that emphasize the Quantifi product offering and added value to potential customers. The role requires knowledge of analytics, trading and/or risk management and a keen interest in keeping abreast of trends in financial markets. Responsibilities:
- Prepare for solution demonstrations and presentations.
- Generate product demo databases and Python scripts based on customer requirements.
- Research the latest market developments and customer needs.
- Respond to Request for Information/Proposal documents.
- Help execute proof-of-concepts and workshops.
- Work with sales team on the execution of specific sales strategies.
- Assist in qualifying sales opportunities.
- Help with documenting pre-sales practices.
Skills and Requirements:
- Working knowledge of databases (including SQL) and scripting (PowerShell, Python)
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in finance, business, or related field
- FRM or CFA certification a plus
- Knowledge of finance, specifically trading and risk management
- Good presentation and communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Ability to work independently.
